Snyders of Hanover decided to release a new flavor of pretzel pieces, Nashville Hot. What they didn’t expect was how upset chicken would be losing their favorite seasoning.
Enter Travis Byrd, a chicken, who channeled his heartbreak the only way he knew how: a classic country heartbreak ballad. Travis song “Left Me for Pretzels” was used to create a TikTok campaign with his first post garnering over 6M views. Check it out here -"Left Me for Pretzels"

My Role:
In addition to being part of the team of writers who helped turn Travis’ heartbreak into song, I acted as our resident TikTok expert and only Gen Z member of the team. Once our music video was filmed I had the task of finding the best ways for Travis and his song to participate in current trends on the platform and create all of our organic posts.
And we couldn’t write an entire country ballad and NOT film an music video
